Game 1 – Auburn Montgomery 7, Christian Brothers 5
Christian Brothers put together a strong offensive effort with 10 hits, but a late push from Auburn Montgomery proved to be the difference in a 7-5 loss.
AUM jumped out early with three runs in the first inning, putting CBU in an immediate deficit. The Buccaneers answered with a run in the bottom half on a sacrifice fly from Kate Candies, then chipped away throughout the game.
Mackenzie Gieseler highlighted the middle innings with a solo home run in the fourth, while the biggest moment came in the sixth. Dakota Davis delivered an RBI double, and Ashley Williamson followed with a two-run triple to tie the game at 5-5.
However, Auburn Montgomery responded in the seventh with two runs, including an RBI single and a run scored on a passed ball, to reclaim the lead for good.
Williamson led CBU with two RBIs, while Candies and Davis each added key hits. Despite the offensive production.
Game 2 – Auburn Montgomery 7, Christian Brothers 5
CBU started fast but could not hold off Auburn Montgomery's power hitting in another 7-5 defeat.
The Buccaneers took a 2-0 lead in the first inning with RBI plays from Candies and Gieseler. That early momentum shifted in the third, when AUM scored three runs to take control, followed by a two-run home run in the fourth to extend the lead to 5-2.
AUM added insurance in the seventh with a two-run homer, pushing the margin to five runs.
CBU made one last push in the bottom of the seventh. Katelyn Harmon delivered a three-run home run to cut the deficit to 7-5, but the rally ended there.
Harmon finished with three RBIs, while Marin Beeson reached base multiple times and scored twice. The Buccaneers were limited to just four hits overall.
Game 3 – Auburn Montgomery 10, Christian Brothers 2
The series finale saw Auburn Montgomery pull away early and never look back in a 10-2 win.
AUM used a steady offensive attack, including five home runs, to build a commanding lead. They scored in six different innings and broke the game open with a four-run sixth inning.
CBU's offense struggled to find consistency, managing just two hits on the day. Both runs came via solo home runs from Katelyn Harmon and Mackenzie Gieseler.
Defensively, errors also hurt the Buccaneers, leading to multiple unearned runs for AUM.
Emily Schooler started in the circle and allowed 10 runs, seven earned, while Lily Hurley provided relief late.
