Memphis, TN- Christian Brothers University used a big third inning to take control in a 4 to 1 win over Lane College.

Isaac Lemanski doubled to left field and drove in two runs, scoring Nick Petruzzello and Jackson Licata. Mikey Rodriquez followed with an RBI single to center, scoring Lemanski and giving CBU a 3 to 1 advantage.
In the fourth inning, Shahkai Matthews added insurance with a solo home run, his only hit of the game, pushing the lead to 4 to 1.
Lemanski finished 1 for 3 with a double and 2 RBIs. Matthews went 1 for 3 with a home run and 1 RBI. Rodriquez added an RBI single.
On the mound, CBU pitchers combined for 7 innings, allowing 4 hits and 1 run while striking out 4 and walking 5.
Game 2, Christian Brothers 9, Lane 2
Christian Brothers followed with a 9 to 2 win, scoring 9 runs on 7 hits. Lane recorded 2 runs on 3 hits and had 3 errors.
CBU took an early 1 to 0 lead in the first inning when Shahkai Matthews scored. They added another run in the third after Matthews reached on an error and Jordan Rodriquez scored.
The game broke open in the fourth inning when CBU scored 7 runs. Zowen Collins singled to right field for 2 RBIs. Matthews delivered a three-run double, finishing with 4 RBIs in the game. Isaac Lemanski added an RBI double, and Will Gossett followed with an RBI single to cap the inning and make it 9 to 0.
