MONTGOMERY, Ala. — Christian Brothers University Women's Soccer continued its push forward Saturday, showing fight and creating opportunities despite a 2-0 road setback against AUM.
The Buccaneers finished the match with 12 shots, including five on goal, and increased their offensive pressure after halftime with seven second-half attempts.
CBU remained active throughout the lineup as the Bucs continued looking for ways to break through offensively. Lea Kljajic led the team with three shots, while Ava Reotutar recorded two attempts with one on target. Alexa Franklin, Ella Morton, Julia Brandao and Emma Browning also put shots on goal.
Defensively, Mack Campbell played the full 90 minutes for CBU, while goalkeeper Kaylee Allen also went the distance in goal.
The Bucs are continuing to work through the process of putting together complete performances. Saturday provided another opportunity for the group to grow together and identify areas that can turn competitive stretches into results.
CBU will look to build on those positives moving forward as conference play continues.
