Policy Regulations
- Everyone in attendance is required to have a properly worn facial covering, and stay socially distant from others who are not from the same household for the duration of their visit.
- Baseball / Softball / Basketball / Volleyball:
Capacity is limited to two (2) family members of each CBU student-athlete/coach. Names are included on a pass list and those not appearing on the pass list will be denied entry.
- All guest names must be submitted 24 hours prior to the event and cannot be changed.
- Soccer / Tennis / Golf:
There are no capacity restrictions, however spectators must remain socially distanced from those outside of their household.
Athletic Event Process
- Event staff will ensure all health & safety guidelines are met.
- There will be a centralized check-in for all events.
- All family members will be required to complete CBU Green Dot Form.
- Family members must successfully complete the Green Dot Form, and be prepared to show it at check-in.
- Family members will be required to have their temperature taken at check-in, which must register no higher than 100.4 degrees.
- Failure to pass symptom check-in will result in both family members being denied entry into the event.
- Baseball, Softball, Basketball and Volleyball venues have capacity limitations for standing and seating areas, and we will abide by these capacities.
- Guests are encouraged to exit the facility immediately following the completion of the event.
As a reminder, our events are subject to capacity limitations dependent on the venue. Event may not always be able to meet spectator demand.
Any violation of this policy will result in immediate removal from campus.
This policy is subject to change, and may be suspended dependent on rate increase.
FAN CODE OF CONDUCT & VIOLATIONS
Failing to comply with university and athletic policies, including policies requiring face coverings and requirements to maintain physical distancing, are cause for removal from CBU Athletics events. Other examples include:
- Behavior that is unruly, disruptive or illegal in nature.
- Intoxication or other signs of alcohol or substance impairment.
- Offensive language or obscene gestures, including the use of language or gestures (1) concerning a person's race, ethnicity, color, gender, religion, creed, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression or national origin, or (2) to instigate, incite or encourage a confrontation or physical assault.
- Interference with the progress of the event, going onto the field, or throwing any object onto the field.
- Failing to follow instructions of event personnel.
- Verbal or physical harassment.
- Tobacco use of any kind (including vaping).
- Behavior that detracts from the enjoyment of fellow guests.
- Conduct that endangers spectators or participants.
- Unreasonably obstructing the view of other patrons.
