Adrian Dorsey enters his first year as Interim Head Baseball Coach for the CBU baseball team.
Dorsey has spent the previous two seasons as the Assistant Coach for the Bucs. As a player, coach and scout, Dorsey has 27 years of experience at the highest levels of baseball.
During his time as assistant coach, Dorsey's responsibilities have included recruiting, hitting coordinator, third base coach, individual defensive coach, team defensive coach, weight room supervisor, conditioning supervisor and field maintenance. In 2023, Dorsey helped guide the Bucs to their most wins since 2007.Â
Before joining CBU, Dorsey spent 11 seasons as a scout for the Baltimore Orioles.Â
Before his stint in professional baseball, Dorsey was an assistant coach for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks (Cape Cod League), North Florida Community College, Georgia State and Young Harris College.Â
As a player, Dorsey spent time at Young Harris, West Virginia and Winthrop.Â
The Frederick, Md., native is the proud father of a daughter, Camden and newborn son, Kai.
