Christian Brothers University Athletics

Matt Brooks enters his third year with the Christian Brothers University baseball team.

Brooks started his career at Pope John Paul II High School in Nashville, Tenn., starting on the varsity team all four years and garnered several All-Region and All-County awards. After graduating, he continued his baseball career at Hanover College in Hanover, Ind., majoring in communications.

While at Hanover, Brooks was a four-year varsity letterman while accomplishing First Team All-Conference three times, Second Team All-Northeast Region and NCAA D3 Northeast Rookie of the Year. He also played in the NYCBL for the Niagara Power.

After his playing career, he coached many touted summer league teams while giving lessons to high school and college players throughout the mid-state.

Brooks is a native of Nashville, Tenn.
