Alex Hausladen enters his second season as assistant men's basketball coach at CBU after spending a year at the University of the Ozarks, an NCAA Division III school in Clarksville, Ark. At Ozarks, he coached post players in addition to film exchange, recruiting, scouting, and various other tasks. Hausladen completed his Master of Education degree at CBU in December 2008.
Hausladen, a native of Milwaukee, Wis., attended the University of Arkansas, where he spent four seasons on the men's basketball coaching staff under Stan Heath. He was the Head Student Manager for his final two seasons, and he served as Assistant to the Video Coordinator, helping Arkansas to the NCAA Tournament during his final season in Fayetteville. He graduated in 2006 with a B.A. degree in History.
In addition, Hausladen has coached in summer basketball camps at numerous universities across the country, including Arkansas, Arkansas State, Kentucky, Lipscomb, Louisville, Marquette, Maryland, Memphis, Wake Forest, and Wisconsin.
Hausladen attended Marquette University High School in Milwaukee, where he spent three seasons as student assistant coach under head coach Kurt Soderberg.
