Enda Crehan | Head Men's Soccer Coach
Enda Crehan enters his seventh season as head coach of the Christian Brothers University men's soccer program in 2026, continuing to build the Buccaneers into a consistent Gulf South Conference contender while emphasizing academic achievement and player development.
CBU finished the 2025 season 8-6-3 overall and 5-3-3 in GSC play, earning a spot in the GSC Championship Tournament. The Buccaneers closed the regular season 8-5-3 before falling 2-1 to Alabama Huntsville in the conference tournament.
Crehan's tenure has included one of the biggest accomplishments in the program's recent history. In his third season, he guided CBU to its first Gulf South Conference Championship since 2012 and first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2014. Under Crehan, CBU has produced All-GSC, Academic All-GSC and All-Region selections, a GSC Player of the Year and a GSC Scholar-Athlete award recipient. He has also helped multiple Buccaneers advance to professional soccer.
That professional pipeline continued in 2026 when former Buccaneer Alexander Blanche signed with Metropolitan FA in Puerto Rico's first tier. Blanche developed under Crehan at CBU and earned Second Team All-GSC honors. Success in the classroom has also become a major part of Crehan's program. CBU earned the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the sixth consecutive year following the 2025-26 academic year after posting a 3.30 team GPA.
Before CBU, Crehan compiled a 29-22-2 record in three seasons at Ferrum College, leading the program to three consecutive winning seasons. He previously went 40-16-6 at Patrick Henry Community College, where he earned Region 10 Coach of the Year honors, and also posted a 57-7 record in three seasons at Carlisle School. Crehan has surpassed 100 career victories as a head coach.
A native of Newbridge, Galway, Ireland, Crehan played NCAA Division II soccer at Post University from 2005-08. He earned a bachelor's degree in International Business from Post and an MBA from Averett University. Crehan holds UEFA A and USSF A coaching credentials and also serves as a North American scout for the Football Association of Ireland.
Crehan and his wife, Tanya, have three sons, Ruairi, Eamon and Aiden.
