Jacob Daffern enters his first season as an assistant coach for the CBU men's soccer team.
Daffern spent the previous three seasons as a player for the Bucs, helping them to a pair of Gulf South Conference Tournaments and the GSC Spring Championship Series final.
The Milton Keynes, England native played in 36 matches for the Bucs, scoring three goals with six assists.
Daffern came to CBU after previously playing at Tyler Junior College, for two seasons, where he helped the team earn the 2017 National Championship, with a 23-2 record. Before Tyler, Daffern attended Cottesloe School and Milton Keynes College while playing academy soccer for Milton Keynes Dons.
He is the son of Bridget and Peter, and has two brothers Daniel and Edwin.
