Mariano Ilari is back at Christian Brothers University in his second season as the assistant men's soccer coach.
Ilari was a two-time first-team All-Gulf South Conference player at CBU, earning that award after scoring team-bests of nine goals and 23 points as a senior. He also added five assists and had five game-winning goals. As a sophomore, Ilari was named the GSC Co-Player of the Year after scoring 14 goals with seven assists.
For his career at CBU, Ilari scored 31 goals with 19 assists.
The Buenos Aires, Argentina, native played his first college season at Campbellsville (Ky.) University, earning First-Team All-Mid-South Conference honors.
