MEMPHIS—The Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs won their sixth straight game Wednesday afternoon as they won 8-0 at Trevecca Nazarene.
The Lady Bucs (6-2) again jumped out to a quick lead as
Annelise Nevarez (Cumming, Ga./Pinecrest Academy) scored just over four minutes into the game.
Elin Svavarsdottir (Reykjavík, Iceland/Menntaskolinn vid Hamrahlid) scored just 72 seconds later to double their lead, and they never looked back.
Gigja Heidarsdottir (Hafnarfjörður, Iceland/Flensborg School) scored the next two goals, one in the 15th minute and one in the 22nd minute. She would score in the 61st minute as well, recording her first career hat trick.
Nevarez finished the first-half scoring in the 33rd minute to give CBU a 5-0 lead at the intermission.
In the second half, Heidarsdottir opened up the scoring, and the Lady Bucs scored two more in a three-minute span to put the final tally on the board.
Anna Laskarzewska (Edmonton, Alberta/Archbishop O'Leary) scored in the 69th minute, and
Colleen McDaniel (Cullman, Ala./Cullman HS) added another goal in the 72nd to make it 8-0.

Libby Hake (Fort Wayne, Ind./Canterbury HS) and
Christina Barone (Phoenix, Ariz./Cactus Shadows HS) each recorded two saves as they combined for the shutout.
The Lady Bucs will start Gulf South Conference play Saturday night as they host Montevallo at 5 p.m.
