FLORENCE, Ala.—Christian Brothers University sophomore forward Sarah Catherine Ryan (Memphis, Tenn., St. Agnes Academy) scored a pair of first-half goals to lead the Lady Bucs to a 2-0 win over Eckerd Friday afternoon.

The Lady Bucs (3-0) scored first in the 18th minute as Ryan scored off a cross from Anna Laskarzewska (Edmonton, Alberta/Archbishop O'Leary).  Ten minutes later, Ryan tacked on another goal, and the Lady Bucs held the Tritons (0-1) scoreless as Libby Hake (Fort Wayne, Ind./Canterbury HS) made one save to earn the shutout.

The Lady Bucs out-shot Eckerd 10-3, including a 9-1 edge in shots on goal.

The Lady Bucs remain in Florence to play Lynn Sunday afternoon at 12:30 p.m.
