Lions Blank Lady Bucs 2-0

Libby Hake made a school-record 12 saves as the Lady Bucs lost 2-0 at North Alabama Tuesday night.
 FLORENCE, Ala.—Host North Alabama scored on each side of the halftime break as they earned a 2-0 Gulf South Conference victory over the Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs Tuesday night.

The Lions (8-2, 3-0 GSC) struck first in the 38th minute as Jamie Takala headed a Nikki Brown cross past CBU goalkeeper Libby Hake (Fort Wayne, Ind./Canterbury HS) for a score.  In the 46th minute, just 32 seconds into the second half, Chloe Roberts capitalized on a Jennifer Osmond cross to score her 15th goal of the season.

Hake set a school record with 12 saves in the game as the Lady Bucs were out-shot 24-7.

The Lady Bucs return to the field Saturday afternoon at West Florida.  Their next home game is Wednesday night, Oct. 13, against Central Baptist.
