MEMPHIS—A 21st-minute goal by junior forward Anna Laskarzewska (Edmonton, Alberta, Archbishop O'Leary) lifted the Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs to a 1-0 victory at Eckerd Friday night in the Eckerd Invitational.

Freshman forward Lauren Quinones (Melbourne, Fla./West Shore HS), playing in her home state, found Laskarzewska with a cross in the 21st minute to give the Lady Bucs (1-1) all the scoring they would need.  Junior goalkeeper Libby Hake (Fort Wayne, Ind./Canterbury HS) made five saves as she turned in the fifth clean sheet of her career.

The Tritons (1-2) out-shot the Lady Bucs 10-7, including a 5-4 edge in shots on goal.

The Lady Bucs take on Lynn Sunday morning at 10 a.m. in their final game of the Eckerd Invitational.
