Box Score LIVINGSTON, Ala.—The Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs scored five goals in the second half on their way to a 6-0 win at West Alabama Tuesday afternoon, marking their highest score of the year and the most goals in a half since 2009.

Sarah Catherine Ryan (Memphis, Tenn./St. Agnes Academy) started what would become a big day in the 30th minute when she finished off an Amanda Smith (Collierville, Tenn./Collierville HS) free kick near midfield.  The lead held at 1-0 until early in the second half, when the Lady Bucs (5-5-2, 2-2 GSC) exploded for three goals in less than eight minutes.  Allison Tutt (Collierville, Tenn./Collierville HS) started the burst when she scored off a Ryan cross in the 49th minute.  Just over three minutes later, in the 52nd minute, Alex Bickenbach (Memphis, Tenn./St. Benedict HS) scored unassisted from the left side, and Tutt tacked on the final goal of the sequence in the 57th minute.

Anna Laskarzewska (Edmonton, Alberta/Archbishop O'Leary) scored after a Ryan free kick in the 74th minute, and Emily Smith (Memphis, Tenn./Briarcrest Christian HS) tacked on another tally in the final seconds to set the final margin.

The Lady Bucs out-shot the Tigers (6-7, 1-3) 13-10 for the game, but they made the most of a 10-5 edge in shots on goal.  Robyn Wade (Collierville, Tenn./Collierville HS) made five saves to record her fifth shutout of the season.

The Lady Bucs come home Friday night at 5 p.m. to host defending GSC champion West Florida at Signaigo Field.
