Lions Blank Lady Bucs 2-0

Emily Smith took two shots, including the team's only shot on goal, in the Lady Bucs' 2-0 loss to North Alabama Sunday afternoon.
Box Score MEMPHIS—Visiting North Alabama used a goal in each half and controlled play for most of the game as they claimed a 2-0 win over the Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs Sunday afternoon to remain unbeaten in Gulf South Conference play.

The Lions (8-2, 2-0 GSC) struck first in the 25th minute when Nikki Brown found Chloe Roberts with a throughball, and Roberts finished for the only goal UNA would need.  They tacked on another score in the 65th minute when Jennifer Osmond scored on a free kick.

UNA out-shot the Lady Bucs (4-4-2, 1-2) 18-6 for the game, including a 9-1 edge in shots on goal.  Robyn Wade (Collierville, Tenn./Collierville HS) made seven saves for CBU.

The Lady Bucs return to action Saturday at noon when they host Bethel.
