Box Score MEMPHIS—On Senior Day, three different Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs scored in the first half, including two goals just 28 seconds apart, to lift the Lady Bucs to a 3-0 win over Delta State Saturday afternoon at Signaigo Field.
Carmen Manes (Memphis, Tenn./St. Agnes Academy) put the Lady Bucs (8-8-2, 3-4 GSC) on the board in the 15th minute as she scored off a cross from
Kelsey LaBarreare (Eads, Tenn./Briarcrest HS). Just 28 seconds later, it was
Alex Bickenbach (Memphis, Tenn./St. Benedict HS) finishing on an
Amanda Smith (Collierville, Tenn./Collierville HS) pass for the Lady Bucs' second goal.
Emily Smith (Memphis, Tenn./Briarcrest Christian HS) set the final margin in the 32nd minute when she scored off a
Sarah Catherine Ryan (Memphis, Tenn./St. Agnes Academy) assist.
The Lady Bucs dominated the flow of the game, outshooting the Lady Statesmen (5-12, 0-7) 22-9, including a 14-4 edge in shots on goal.
Robyn Wade (Collierville, Tenn./Collierville HS) completed a stellar freshman season with four saves for her sixth shutout. Her season finished fifth in school history with 122 saves and third in school history with six shutouts.
