Box Score MEMPHIS—The Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs scored twice in each half as they claimed a 4-0 win over visiting Eckerd Sunday afternoon at Signaigo Field, extending their unbeaten streak to four games.

After several near-misses early, the Lady Bucs (2-0-2) scored in the 37th minute when Anna Laskarzewska (Edmonton, Alberta/Archbishop O'Leary) scored off an Alex Bickenbach (Memphis, Tenn./St. Benedict HS) cross.  In the 44th minute, the Lady Bucs doubled their lead with a perfectly-executed counterattack.  Mallory Geraci (New Orleans, La./Mount Carmel Academy) fed a long ball to Bickenbach, who found Takako Murasue (Fukuoka, Japan/Chikushi Jogakuen HS) in the box for the score.

Emily Smith (Memphis, Tenn./Briarcrest Christian HS) scored her first goal at CBU in the 57th minute, scoring off a long ball from Sarah Catherine Ryan (Memphis, Tenn./St. Agnes Academy).  Bickenbach completed the scoring in the 87th minute with a strike from the top of the 18-yard box.

The Lady Bucs out-shot Eckerd (2-3) 22-9 for the game, including a 10-6 advantage in shots on goal.  Robyn Wade (Collierville, Tenn./Collierville HS) turned in another clean sheet with six saves, her third shutout in four games.

The Lady Bucs play their next four games on the road, beginning with a 2 p.m. game at Montevallo Friday afternoon.  They open GSC play with a trip to Valdosta State and West Georgia Sept. 23-25 before coming home Sept. 28 to take on Northeastern State.
