Box Score BATESVILLE, Ark.–The Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs out-shot previously unbeaten Lyon 46-2 as they cruised to a 4-0 win Friday afternoon in a non-conference game.

Mariana Tonelli (Belo Horizonte, Brazil/American School) put the Lady Bucs (2-0-1) on the board in the 38th minute as she scored on ana assist from Sydney Piper (Germantown, Tenn./Houston HS).

The combination of Alex Bickenbach (Memphis, Tenn./St. Benedict HS) to Katelyn Graham (Memphis, Tenn./St. Benedict HS) put it out of reach early in the second half. Bickenbach set up Graham for a goal in the 53rd minute, and she found Graham again in the 62nd minute to extend the lead to 3-0. Carly Downing (Cordova, Tenn./St. Benedict HS) set the final margin with a goal in the 76th minute.

The Lady Bucs out-shot Lyon 19-1 in the first half and 27-1 in the second half for the 46-2 overall edge. CBU held a 31-1 edge in shots on goal as Lyon goalkeeper Stephanie Spiteri made 24 saves.

The Lady Bucs return to action Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. as they visit Harding in their final tune-up before opening GSC play next Friday night at 6 p.m. as they host West Georgia.
