Chloe Richards put the Lions (3-5-1, 1-2-1 GSC) on the board first in the 72nd minute on a free kick from 30 yards out, and the Lady Bucs (6-1-1, 2-1) answered in the 87th minute as Maddie Cobb (Memphis, Tenn./Evangelical Christian School) sent in a cross to Camilla Rodrigues (Belo Horizonte, Brazil/American School), who fired a shot into the left corner of the net to send the game to extra time.

Just two minutes into overtime, Alex Bickenbach (Memphis, Tenn./St. Benedict HS) found Alex Swanson (Memphis, Tenn./Arlington HS) on the left side of the box, where she fired the game-winner into the open net.
