OXFORD, Miss.-Ole Miss scored the first 16 points and never looked back as they won 111-43 over the Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs Friday night in the first exhibition game for both schools.

Breanna Ridgell (Memphis, Tenn./White Station HS) led the Lady Bucs with 22 points, and Madison Luckett (Memphis, Tenn./St. Benedict HS) scored 10. Rachel Lee (Jackson, Tenn./Jackson Christian School) had team-highs of six assists and five rebounds.

Toree Thompson paced Ole Miss with 25 points and nine assists. Erika Sisk scored 13, while Tia Faleru and Kelsey Briggs added 12 each.

Ole Miss shot 56.2 percent (41-of-73) for the game, including 66.7 percent (14-of-21) from three-point range while holding CBU to 30 percent (18-of-60) overall and just 15.4 percent (2-of-13) from three-point range. Ole Miss out-rebounded the Lady Bucs 54-29, including a 19-7 edge in offensive rebounds, and they forced 24 CBU turnovers while committing 10.

The Lady Bucs open the regular season Friday night at 5:30 p.m. as they visit Harding. Their home opener is Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. against Lane.
