LIVINGSTON, Ala.-Host West Alabama scored three second-half goals as they pulled away to a 4-0 win over the Christian Brothers University Bucs Sunday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED:• The Tigers (5-4-1, 4-0-0 GSC) opened the scoring in the fourth minute, when Stephen Carroll scored off the rebound after CBU defender
Mitchell Bourgeois (Kenner, La./Jesuit HS) saved his first attempt.
• UWA tacked on another in the 49th minute, when Alex Brown converted a penalty.
• The Tigers extended their lead to 3-0 in the 75th minute, when Jean Meyniel scored unassisted.
• UWA set the final margin in the 82nd minute as Pablo Fierros fed a cross to Hicham Manaa for another score.
KEY STATS:• UWA out-shot the Bucs (8-3-0, 1-3-0) 15-4 for the game, including a 9-1 edge in shots on goal.
