TUSCALOOSA, Ala.-Host Stillman shot 57.6 percent from the floor as they cruised to a 90-72 win over the Christian Brothers University Bucs Friday night in the season opener for both schools.
HOW IT HAPPENED:• The Tigers (1-0) scored the game's first 10 points, but the Bucs (0-1) answered with a 15-4 run to claim a one-point lead on an
Adam Dieball (Cincinnati, Ohio/Lakota East HS) jumper with 12:53 remaining in the first half.
• Stillman answered with a 22-8 run to take a 36-23 lead on a Rodnerius Lewis layup, and the Tigers never allowed CBU closer than seven points again, leading by as many as 21 points in the final minutes.
KEY STATS:•
Jeff Larkin (Cincinnati, Ohio/La Salle HS) scored a team-high 18 points for the Bucs.

Drew Hildreth (Memphis, Tenn./Bolton HS) scored 17 with seven rebounds.

Jordan Miller (Fulton, Ky./Fulton City HS) added 14 with six rebounds and two blocks.
• Dieball scored eight points off the bench in his college debut.
• The Bucs shot 50 percent (27-of-54) overall but just 26.3 percent (5-of-19) from three-point range. Stillman shot 57.6 percent (34-of-59) overall, including 41.2 percent (7-of-17) from three-point range.
• The Bucs out-rebounded Stillman 29-27, including an 11-7 edge in offensive rebounds, but they committed 14 turnovers to the Tigers' eight.
