Choctaws Edge Bucs 3-2

MEMPHIS-Visiting Mississippi College broke a 2-2 tie by scoring a run without a hit in the top of the eighth inning as they claimed a 3-2 win over the Christian Brothers University Bucs Friday afternoon at Nadicksbernd Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The 2-1 lead held until the top of the fifth, when the Choctaws tied it back up on an RBI double by Garrett Odom after they put two runners on with a walk and a hit batter.
• MC scored the winning run in the top of the eighth, when Hunter Hall drew a two-out walk and moved around to score on a passed ball and two wild pitches.
