MEMPHIS-The No. 19 Christian Brothers University Bucs scored twice in the final 16 minutes as they claimed a 3-1 win over visiting Montevallo Sunday afternoon at Signaigo Field.
HOW IT HAPPENED:• The Bucs (4-0-0) opened the scoring in the 20th minute, when
Samuel Wilson (Memphis, Tenn./Christian Brothers HS) converted off a cross from
Andrew McKeever (Memphis, Tenn./Christian Brothers HS) for his fourth goal in as many games.
• The Falcons (2-2-0) equalized in the 26th minute as Nikola Klacar finished off a set piece, heading in a cross from Steven Rocca after a corner kick from Sebastian Kraus.
• CBU broke the deadlock in the 75th minute. After a failed clearance by the Falcons on a corner kick,
Jannick Baumer (Emmendingen, Germany/Goethe-Gymnasium Emmendingen) fired a quick shot into the back of the net for his first career goal, which proved to be the game-winner.
• The Bucs set the final margin with a goal on the counterattack in the final seconds.
Brendan Bennett (Belfast, Northern Ireland/St. Mary's Christian Brothers Grammar School) chased a long ball down the sideline then crossed it into
Xavi Lao (Barcelona, Spain/Escola Pia Sabadell), who scored the first goal of his career.
KEY STATS:• The Bucs out-shot the Falcons 20-6 for the game, including a 7-3 edge in shots on goal.
• Baumer and Bennett took five shots each for the Bucs.

Britton McGuire (Memphis, Tenn./Memphis University School) made a pair of saves for the Bucs.
NOTABLE:• Wilson becomes the second Buc forward in as many years to score in each of CBU's first four games. Jose Ferraz scored eight goals in the Bucs' first four games last year.
WHAT'S NEXT:The Bucs play their next two games on the road, beginning Wednesday night at 7 p.m. when they visit Union for a non-conference game. Their next home game is Tuesday night, Sept. 22, as they host Rhodes at 7 p.m.
