CLINTON, Miss.-Host Mississippi College scored two second-half goals in a six-minute span as they claimed a 2-0 win over the Christian Brothers University Bucs Sunday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
• After the first hour was scoreless, the Choctaws (9-1-1-, 7-0-0 GSC) struck first in the 64th minute as Bastian Busch converted off a double-assist from Jacob Farthing and Horacio Gutierrez.
• MC set the final margin in the 70th minute as Dinho Zwane scored off a cross from Gutierrez.
KEY STATS:
• MC out-shot the Bucs (5-6-0, 1-4-0) 13-10 for the game, including a 5-4 edge in shots on goal.

Viktor Hoestbo (Stenloese, Denmark/Oesterhoejskolen) made three saves for the Bucs, while Humberto Pelaez stopped four shots for the Choctaws.

The Bucs hit the road Tuesday afternoon as they visit Delta State at 1 p.m. to make up a game that was rained out Friday. Their next home game is Friday night at 7 p.m. as they host Harding.
