CLEVELAND, Miss.-The Christian Brothers University Bucs scored late in each half as they rallied for a 2-1 win at Delta State Tuesday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
• The Statesmen (5-9-0, 1-6-0 GSC) struck first in the 20th minute as Ashley Walker scored off a cross from Anthony Fernandez.
• The Bucs (6-6-0, 2-5-0) equalized in the 45th minute, just 30 seconds before halftime, as
Xavi Lao (Barcelona, Spain/Escola Pia Sabadell) scored after
Robert Rainer (Cincinnati, Ohio/Lakota East HS) sent a cross to him in the middle of the six-yard box.

Brendan Bennett (Belfast, Northern Ireland/St. Mary's Christian Brothers Grammar School) broke the deadlock with the game-winner in the 86th minute as he scored off a cross from
Jake Barrett (Memphis, Tenn./Christian Brothers HS).
