MEMPHIS-Visiting West Georgia scored four runs in the top of the first inning as they rolled to a 12-2 win over the Bucs
HOW IT HAPPENED:
• The Wolves (26-10, 15-9 GSC) scored four runs in the top of the first on a double, a hit batter, a walk and a two-out Garrett Hayes homer.
• UWG added a run to its lead in the top of the fourth on a double and a single.
• The Wolves extended their lead to 8-0 with three runs in the top of the fifth on a single, two walks and a three-run Hayes double.
• The Bucs (7-29, 1-23) scored a pair of runs in the bottom of the fifth.
Riley Kilgore (Cordova, Tenn./Christian Brothers HS) worked a one-out walk, and
Trey Keppen (Germantown, Tenn./Germantown HS) followed with a single. An error allowed Kilgore to score and sent Keppen to third. Keppen came home on a
Michael Halley (Memphis, Tenn./Christian Brothers HS) single.
• UWG scored a run in the seventh on a single and three walks.
• The Wolves added another run in the eighth on a single, a walk, a hit batter and a wild pitch.
KEY STATS:
• Halley went 2-for-4 with a walk and one RBI.

Nick Traylor (Germantown, Tenn./Christian Brothers HS) was 2-for-4.
