Box Score MOBILE, Ala.-After more than 88 scoreless minutes, Christian Brothers University junior forward
Lauren Magdefrau (Raleigh, N.C., Cardinal Gibbons HS) scored the only goal in the Lady Bucs' 1-0 win at Spring Hill Friday afternoon in the first Gulf South Conference game for both schools.
HOW IT HAPPENED:

Sydney Piper (Germantown, Tenn./Houston HS) from the right side.
KEY STATS:
• Magdefrau's game-winner came on CBU's 19th and final shot, against eight for the Badgers (0-4-1, 0-1-0). CBU held a 12-3 edge in shots in the second half, and they held an 8-4 cushion in shots on goal.
•
Emily Wragg (Nottingham, England/The Becket School) made four saves to earn the shutout.
• CBU also took 12 corner kicks to the Badgers' four.
