MEMPHIS-The Christian Brothers University Bucs scored once in each half as they claimed a 2-0 win over Rhodes Wednesday night at Signaigo Field.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
• The Bucs (3-2-0) struck first in the seventh minute. Djordje Djordjevic sent a cross into the box. The Rhodes (2-4-1) goalkeeper deflected the cross, but
Xavi Lao (Barcelona, Spain/Escola Pia Sabadell) scored on a one-touch shot after the deflection.

Brendan Bennett (Belfast, Northern Ireland/St. Mary's Christian Brothers Grammar School) set the final margin in the 52nd minute when he scored off the rebound after Rhodes goalkeeper Boe Santos saved his initial shot after receiving a long pass into the 18-yard box.
KEY STATS:
• The Bucs out-shot Rhodes 18-7, including an 11-1 edge in shots on goal.

Viktor Hoestbo (Stenloese, Denmark/Oesterhoejskolen) made a save as he played the second half after starter
Ricardo Lao (Barcelona, Spain/Escola Pia Sabadell) faced no shots on goal in the first 45 minutes.
