MEMPHIS-Visiting Spring Hill handed the Christian Brothers University Bucs a 1-0 defeat Sunday afternoon in the Bucs' final Gulf South Conference game of the season.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
• After 80 scoreless minutes, Donte Oliver put the Badgers (10-3-0, 6-2-0 GSC) on the board with a goal in the 81st minute. Alaye Brito won a loose ball in the midfield and sent a cross to Oliver on the right side at the top of the 6-yard box. Oliver scored on a rising shot into the top right side of the net for the game's only goal.
KEY STATS:
• The Badgers out-shot CBU (7-7-1, 6-4-1) 9-8 for the game, with each team taking four shots on goal.

Viktor Hoestbo (Stenloese, Denmark/Oesterhoejskolen) made three saves for the Bucs.
GSC TOURNAMENT PICTURE:
West Alabama sits in first place with 24 points and two games remaining, while Alabama Huntsville and Mississippi College are tied for second with 23 points. UAH has one game remaining, while MC has completed its GSC schedule. CBU is in fourth with 19 points, with all four teams having clinched GSC Tournament berths. Montevallo sits in fifth place with 16 points and two games remaining, followed by Lee with 14 points and one game to play. West Florida follows in seventh with 13 points and two games to play. The top two teams advance to the semifinals, while the next four play in the quarterfinals Tuesday, Oct. 31. The semifinals will be Friday, Nov. 3, in Montgomery, Ala., with the championship Sunday, Nov. 5 in Montgomery.
WHAT'S NEXT:
The Bucs wrap up the regular season with a pair of non-conference games. They visit Harding Thursday night at 6 p.m. before celebrating Senior Night on Saturday Night with a 7 p.m. game at Signaigo Field against Ouachita Baptist.
