MEMPHIS-The Christian Brothers University Bucs held No. 5 Lynn at bay for nearly an hour, but the Fighting Knights scored three goals in the final 30 minutes as they pulled away for the victory.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
• Lynn (3-0-0) opened up the scoring in the 60th minute as Alun Webb found Stefan Strohmaier on the right side outside the six-yard box, and Strohmaier scored the game's first goal.
• The Knights added another goal in the 68th minute as Strohmaier sent a cross to Jack Watson at the top of the 18-yard box. Watson fired a quick shot from there for his second goal of the season.
• Lynn set the final margin in the 81st minute as Ilias Papadopoulos scored an unassisted goal from the top of the 18-yard box after the Bucs (0-3-0) failed to clear a header.
KEY STATS:
• The Knights out-shot CBU 12-8, but the Bucs held a 6-5 edge in shots on goal.

Ricardo Lao (Barcelona, Spain/Escola Pia Sabadell) made two saves for the Bucs.

The Bucs hit the road Sunday afternoon as they visit Lindenwood at 2 p.m. Their next home game is set for Sunday, Sept. 17, as they host Union at 3 p.m. for thier GSC opener.
