Falcons Top Bucs in Series Finale

MONTEVALLO, Alabama-Host Montevallo jumped to a 5-0 lead in the first two innings and held on for a 5-2 win over the Christian Brothers University Bucs Saturday afternoon to claim a series win.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

Keagan Voss (Memphis, Tenn./Christian Brothers HS) reached on another error, bringing Soto home. After Luke Wewers (Little Rock, Ark./Catholic HS) worked a walk, Jeff Goodwin (Memphis, Tenn./Christian Brothers HS) hit a two-out single to center to score Jordan, but Voss was tagged out at the plate trying to score.
