MEMPHIS-Visiting West Florida scored 13 runs on 16 hits Monday as they claimed a 13-3 win over the Christian Brothers University Bucs at Nadicksbernd Field.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
• UWF (15-8, 7-2 GSC) opened the scoring in the top of the second with a run on a hit batter, a single and a run-scoring double play.
• The Argos added five in the third on a walk, four singles and a double.

Taylor Angley-Holman (Redding, Calif./Enterprise HS) put the Bucs (5-15, 1-8) on the board with his first career homer, leading off the bottom of the third with a blast to left-center on a 2-0 count.
• UWF added a run in the fifth on a one-out triple and a sacrifice fly.
• The Argos blew it open with a five-run sixth, scoring on two doubles, a single, a hit batter and a three-run Nic Strasser homer.

Hunter Howard (Chelsea, Ala./Chelsea HS) opened the inning with a double to the gap in left-center, moving to third on a
Larry Hubbard (Collierville, Tenn./St. George's Independent HS) single. A wild pickoff throw scored Howard and sent Hubbard to second. After a
Keagan Voss (Memphis, Tenn./Christian Brothers HS) single moved him to third, Hubbard scored on a
Brandon Dodd (Arlington, Tenn./Arlington HS) groundout.
• UWF set the final margin with another run in the eighth on a one-out double and a two-out single.
KEY STATS:
• Angley-Holman went 2-for-4 with a homer, a run and one RBI.
• Hubbard was 1-for-3 with a walk and a run.
• Dodd went 1-for-3 with one RBI.
