FLORENCE, Alabama-Host North Alabama shut out the Christian Brothers University Bucs in both games as they swept a doubleheader Sunday, winning the opener 4-0 and taking a 3-0 win in the nightcap.
GAME 1:
WHAT HAPPENED:
The Lions (28-12, 17-6 GSC) scored three in the third and one in the ninth to take a 4-0 win as pitcher Tyler Joyner threw a three-hit shutout with 13 strikeouts.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
• UNA, playing as the visiting team since the games were originally scheduled at Nadicksbernd Field, scored three in the top of the third on two singles, a hit batter, a walk, a sacrifice fly and a wild pitch.
• The Lions set the final margin with a run in the ninth on a double, a wild pitch and a sacrifice fly.
KEY STATS:

Will Rutledge (Nashville, Tenn./Father Ryan HS) threw his first career complete game, allowing four runs on seven hits and two walks as he pitched all nine inning for the Bucs (10-30, 4-19).

WHAT HAPPENED:
UNA scored twice in the first and once in the seventh, winning 3-0 behind a two-hit shutout by Lane Wallace.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
• The Lions scored two in the first on back-to-back one-out doubles and a two-out single.
• UNA set the final margin with a run in the seventh on a single and a double, both with two out.
KEY STATS:
• Cramer was 1-for-2 with a hit by pitch and a stolen base.

Keagan Voss (Memphis, Tenn./Christian Brothers HS) went 1-for-3.

Peyton Sanderlin (Collierville, Tenn./Collierville HS) threw a complete game, allowing three runs as he scattered eight hits and two walks over seven innings.
