FLORENCE, Alabama-Host North Alabama scored in all seven innings as they won 12-0 over the Christian Brothers University Bucs Monday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
• Playing as the visiting team since the series was originally scheduled in Memphis, the Lions (29-12, 18-6 GSC) opened the scoring with five in the top of the first, taking advantage of six walks, two singles and an error.
• UNA added a run on two singles and two walks in the second.
• The Lions scored a run in the third on three one-out singles.
• UNA added another tally in the fourth on a single, a double and a groundout.
• The Lions extended their lead to 9-0 in the fifth with a run on two singles, an error and a walk.
• UNA added another run in the sixth on two walks and a double.
• The Lions set the final margin with two in the seventh on two walks and two singles.
