PENSACOLA, Florida- The Christian Brothers University Buccaneers held West Florida to a single goal in the first half, but the Argonauts pulled away in the second half tacking on three goals, defeating the Bucs 4-1 Sunday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The score remained even for 26 minutes, but in the 27th minute the Argonauts (3-2-1) struck first with an unassisted goal from Ed Chappe.
- Sean Hoffstater extended the lead for the Argonauts in the 49th minute with an unassisted goal making the score 2-0.
- In the 59th minute, Sean Hoffstater tacked on another goal for the Argonauts to further their lead to 3-0.
- Finishing his individual hat-trick, Sean Hoffstater scored in the 61st minute for the Argonauts to make it 4-0.
- Luiz Dutra (Belo Horizonte, Brazil/American School) finished out the scoring in the game with a goal in the 80th minute for the Bucs (0-4-0).
KEY STATS:
