Bucs Defeat Tigers 3-0

MEMPHIS- The Christian Brothers University Bucs jumped out to an early lead against Ouachita Baptist with two first half goals and held that advantage with a 3-0 win Wednesday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • The Bucs (2-4-1) opened the scoring early with a goal in the 16th minute with a goal from Maximillian Galizzi (Puerto Madryn, Argentina/Escuela de la Costa).
  • Xavi Lao (Barcelona, Spain/Escola Pia Sabadell) kept the scoring going for the Bucs with a goal in the 45th minute that was assisted by Devin Malone (Memphis, Tenn./Bartlett HS).
  • The Bucs closed out the scoring for the game in the 62nd minute with a goal from Maxi Schwoche (Sprockhoevel, Germany/) which was assisted by James Raptis (London, England/Finley Catholic).

KEY STATS:
  • The Tigers (3-4-1) out-shot the Bucs 11-7 for the game, but the Bucs held the 4-3 advantage in shots on goal.
  • Viktor Hoestbo (Stenloese, Denmark/Oesterhoejskolen) made three saves as he turned in his third consecutive clean sheet.
