Henderson State Uses Late Surge to Power Past Bucs

MEMPHIS, Tennessee- The Henderson State Reddies were clicking on all cylinders Tuesday afternoon to give them the 12-1 victory against Christian Brothers University.

GAME CHANGER
  • The Christian Brothers University Buccaneers left 12 runners on the bases, while only bringing home one run.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
  • HSU's starter, Dalton O'Donell, finished with a line of five innings pitched, while allowing zero earned runs and striking out four CBU batters.
  • The Reddies outhit the Bucs 9-8.
  • Henderson State finished the game with six steals.
  • Jaime Soto and Hunter Howard led the Bucs' offense with two hits a piece.

  • The Reddies jumped out to a lead in the second inning and held it until the game was over.
