Galizzi Helps Lead Bucs to Victory Over Spring Hill

MEMPHIS - Maxi Galizzi scored four goals, including three in a five minute span, to help lead the Christian Brothers University men's soccer team to a 4-1 over Spring Hill on Sunday at Signaigo Field.   

HOW IT HAPPENED
 
17' | Galizzi opened the scoring when he found the back of the net after a scramble in front of goal. 
21' | Galizzi scored his second less than three minutes later, as he converted a penalty kick. 
22' | The onslaught continued just one minute later when Galizzi received a pass from the top of the box and fired it past the goalkeeper. 
41' | Spring Hill fought its way back into the match with a goal less than five minutes before the half. 
87' | The Bucs finished the scoring when Galizzi scored his fourth of the day off a through ball from Conor Samson.

KEY STATS | NOTEABLES
  • Galizzi became just the second CBU player in school history to score four goals in a game, matching the total of Jose Ferraz (9.13.14).
  • Spring Hill outshot the Bucs 6-2 in the second half to finish the match with a 10-9 advantage. Both teams had six shots on goal.
