MEMPHIS - Union used a 10-2 run over the final 6:08 to defeat the Christian Brothers University men's basketball team, 61-49, on Saturday afternoon, at Canale Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the early stages of the contest, the visitors used a three-pointer from Justin Debuck to take a 14-7 lead.
- CBU scored the next seven, tying the game at 14.
- Union used a 14-2 run to take a 32-22 lead, with 4:27 left in the half.
- CBU responded with a 6-0 spurt to cut the deficit to 32-28 at the break.
- Union was 8-of-19 from three point range in the opening 20 minutes.
- With 15:59 left, a three pointer from Christian Jones cut the lead to 36-35.
- The Bulldogs responded with a 13-3 run to take a 49-38 lead.
- Jones knocked down another triple to get the Bucs to within 51-47, with 6:08 left.
- Union then used the late run to take control of the game.
KEY STATS | NOTEABLES:
- The Bulldogs have now won the last four meetings between the in-state rivals.
- CBU held Union to just 36 percent from the field (19-of-53). Eleven of the 19 makes, for Union, were beyond the three point line.
- The Bucs finished 39 percent from the floor (20-of-51).
- After going just 2-for-22, from three point range, in the opener, the Bucs bounced back to go 7-for-19.
