MONTGOMERY, Ala. - After watching the Christian Brothers University men's basketball team take an improbable lead with four seconds left Auburn Montgomery hit a shot, from 30 feet out, at the buzzer to win the game 66-64, on Thursday night, at the AUM Athletics Complex.
The Bucs have dropped three consecutive games by two points.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Bucs lead 13-6 in the early stages of the second half.
- AUM closed the first half on an 11-2 run to take a 30-20 lead at the break.
- The Warhawks lead 41-28, with 13:19 left, but the Bucs responded with a 12-4 run to cut the lead to 45-40.
- With 5:28 left, Aiden Ruthsatz knocked down a three pointer to get CBU to within 51-48.
- A pair of free throws, with 37 seconds left put AUM up 62-56, but Daryl Lewis hit a pair of his own to cut the deficit to 62-58.
- After Stanley Davis split a pair of free throws, Ruthsatz sunk a three pointer to make it 63-61, with nine seconds left.
- CBU stole the inbound pass and, with four seconds left, Lewis found Malik Jones to give the Bucs a 64-63 lead.
- Darrion Taylor took the inbound pass and found an opening, his shot from 30 feet was true, to give the Warhawks the win.
KEY STATS | NOTEABLES:
- AUM went 19-of-23 from the free throw stripe in the second half, and finished 26-of-31 for the game from the charity stripe
- CBU owned the glass 48-35. The Bucs finished with 16 offensive rebounds.
- CBU finished the game just 33 percent from the floor, and managed to make just six of its 25 three point attempts.
- The Bucs were 16-of-23 from the free throw line.
- Mitchell Mays led the Bucs with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Mays has recorded a double-double in five of the last seven games.
