HOW IT HAPPENED
- A closely contested first half saw CBU take the biggest lead by either team (30-24) at the 8:19 mark.
- UAH went on a 20-10 run over the next seven minutes to take a 44-40 lead with less than a minute to go in the half, and held on to lead 44-42 at the break.
- A 3-pointer from UAH gave it a 51-44 advantage less than three minutes into the second half, and after CBU cut the lead down to three, an 11-3 run for the Chargers gave UAH a 62-51 advantage with 12:43 left in the game.
- The lead would grow to as many as 13 before CBU pulled back within five, but the Chargers outscored the Bucs 10-6 the rest of the way to hold on for the win.
KEY STATS | NOTEABLES:
- The Chargers shot 55.6 percent overall including 13-for-26 from downtown, and after being held to 36 percent in the second half, CBU shot 42.0 percent as a team.
- UAH outscored CBU 30-14 in the paint.
- Brad Miller led the Bucs with 23 points and nine assists.
- Mitchell Mays added 21 points and nine rebounds, while Aiden Ruthsatz helped the cause with 16 points.
