HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - Alabama Huntsville combined for 32 runs and 30 hits in a doubleheader sweep of the Christian Brothers University baseball team, on Saturday at Charger Park.
UAH won the opener 16-0 (7) and finished the sweep with a 16-1 win in game two.
GAME ONE: UAH 16 (13-5, 8-2 GSC), CBU 0 (4-15, 1-9 GSC ) (7)
GAME CHANGER:
- The hosts scored 10 runs in the first inning.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- The Bucs were outhit 14-2.

Luke Wewers and
Kyle Hindman had the hits for CBU.
- UAH had four extra base hits.
- CBU drew five walks.
KEY PLAYS:
- UAH sent 14 batters to the plate in the opening frame, scoring 10 runs on six hits.
- The Chargers added three in the second and three in the six to finish the scoring.

- Wewers now has three doubles on the season, which is tied for the team lead.

- After scoring a pair in the first, the Chargers took control with eight runs in the second.

- CBU was outhit 16-4.

Kyle Hindman (1-for-3) recorded the lone RBI for CBU, as his double in the seventh scored
Garett Reason-Kerkhoff.
KEY PLAYS:
- Leading 2-0, in the second, the Chargers plated eight runs on six hits.
- UAH added a run in the third and five in the fifth.
- Hindman's RBI double finished the scoring.
