CBU athletics will continue to honor our senior student-athletes from all spring sports who had their seasons/careers cut short due to cancellation of competition across all sports in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. 
 
Kyle Hindman is a five-year member of the baseball team, who majored in accounting. He appeared in 92 games during his CBU career. In 2019, Hindman finished third in the team with 18 RBIs. 

What is your major?
Accounting with a minor in Finance

What are your future plans/career goals?
I'm unsure of what I plan on doing after school. I want a job that allows me to travel and live in different cities.

What were your thoughts when you found out the season was being canceled?
It was heart breaking.

What led you to CBU?
The chance to play college baseball, while getting a good education.

What has been your favorite thing about your time here?
The friends I have made as well as the bond that was formed with my teammates.

What is one of your best memories from your career?
Beating Delta State when they were ranked #1 in the nation.

What is one of the most funny/embarrassing moments from your career?
I'd say most stays between the teammates. The Halloween games were always really fun or hitting tanks during dizzy bat on the softball field.

Who is someone who has had a major impact on you – be it in your athletic career or personally?
Michael Halley transferred to CBU my freshman year. We became best friends and he has helped me through so much in school, baseball, and life.

What is your favorite activity or best talent outside of your sport?
- Lifting
- Golf
- Projects that involve building things
- Video games
 
If you had to be quarantined with four celebrities, who would they be?
Derek Jeter, Matthew McConaughey, Will Ferrell, and Joe Montana

If you were going to be isolated in your house for a month, what are the first three items you'd make sure to grab at the store?
A weight room, Chocolate milk, beer.

One musical artist you'd recommend to everybody?
Juice World or Quinn XCII

What's a show you're currently watching, or have recently?
"Dave" which has Lil Dicky in it and is hilarious.
"Chuck" which is a spy show and who doesn't like a spy show.

You have the power to make one law – what would it be?
Littering is a life sentence, it's one of my biggest pet peeves

If you could give your 10 year-old self-one piece of advice, what would it be?
Don't take a single thing for granted, life goes by fast.
