CLINTON, Miss. - Mississippi College shot 64 percent in the second half to earn a 72-60 victory over the Christian Brothers University men's basketball team, on Saturday afternoon, at A.E. Wood Coliseum.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- In the opening three minutes, the Bucs jumped out to an early 7-1 lead.
- With 8:49 left in the half, CBU extended its lead to 21-11.
- MC stormed back, going on a 21-8 run to take a 32-29 lead at the half.
- With 13:24 left, Christian Jones knocked down a three pointer cut the MC lead to 46-43.
- The rest of the second half was all Choctaws, as they shot 64 percent, and led by as many as 20 points.
KEY STATS | NOTEABLES:
- MC finished the game 60 percent from the floor (29-of-48), including 6-for-12 from long range.
- CBU was held to just 37 percent shooting (23-of-61), and was just 8-for-29 from three point range.
- The Bucs finished the game with a 30-29 edge on the glass.
- Aiden Ruthsatz led the Bucs with 14 points, and tied for a team high with five rebounds.
- Christian Jones had 11 points to round out the double figure scorers for CBU.
