VALDOSTA, Ga. - The Christian Brothers University men's golf team finished in a tie for seventh place at the South/Southeast Regional Preview, at the Kinderlou Forest Golf Club. Daniel Montes tied for 11th place to lead the Bucs. 

Montes shot a three round total of 218 (+2) to lead CBU. 

After opening the tournament with a first round total of 292, the Bucs shot a 304 in round two, and finished the tournament with a 296. Newberry College defeated Gulf South Conference foe West Georgia in a two-hole playoff.
