MEMPHIS - West Alabama earned a hard fought 70-64 victory over the Christian Brothers University men's basketball team, on Sunday afternoon, at Canale Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The first 10 minutes belong to the Tigers, as they lead 19-11 with 11 minutes in.
- CBU stormed back, using hot three point shooting to get to within 30-28 at the half.
- The Bucs were 5-of-7 from three point range in the opening 20 minutes.
- CBU led for a majority of the opening stages of the second half, and got a three point play, with 10:12 left, from Daryl Lewis to push its advantage to 50-43.
- The Tigers fought back, using a 14-7 run, tying the game at 57 with 3:58 left.
- After taking the lead with 3:55 left, the visitors did not relinquish it.
KEY STATS | NOTEABLES:
- The Bucs were outscored in the paint 42-26, and outrebounded 31-21.
- After going 5-of-7 from three point range in the first half, the Bucs went 1-for-8 over the final 20 minutes.
- In a contest that saw 46 combined fouls, the visitors were 21-of-28 from the free throw line, while the Bucs finished 14-for-19.
- Nick Deifel led the Bucs with 16 points, while Aiden Ruthsatz finished with 15.
- Daryl Lewis rounded out the double figure scorers with 13 points.
