BRANDON, Miss. - Mississippi College scored a goal in the 37th minute and held on for a 1-0 victory over the Christian Brothers University men's soccer team, on Tuesday, on the campus of Brandon High School.
The contest was the first of the 2021 Gulf South Conference Spring Championship Series, and was also the CBU debut for new head coach
Enda Crehan.
This marked the first official match for the Bucs since November 12, 2019, when they fell at Lee in the opening round of the Gulf South Conference Tournament.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
37' | Both midfields dominated the first 30 minutes of play, but MC found a breakthrough when Zach Diallo took a through-ball from Pedro Navarro that found the back of the net.
HALF | The Choctaws outshot the Bucs 5-2 in the first half.
FINAL | CBU was the more dangerous attacking team in the second half, outshooting the hosts 4-2, but was unable to find the equalizer.
