Livingston, Ala. – West Alabama scored two runs in the sixth, one in the seventh and two more in the eighth to help it defeat the Christian Brothers University baseball team 10-8, on Friday evening, at Tartt Field.

Jaime Soto's RBI walk in the first, UWA capitalized on a Bucs miscue, which allowed the Tigers to lead 2-1 after one.
- The Bucs answered with two runs in the second, but the Tigers answered back with three runs of their own.
- With CBU trailing 5-3 in the fifth,
Luke Wewers smacked a two run-homer to left field to tie the game at five.
- CBU capitalized on a pair of errors to score runs in the sixth and seventh.
- Trailing 8-7 in the seventh UWA tied the game on a passed ball.
- After three straight walks, in the eighth, UWA scored what proved to be the game-winning run on a sacrifice fly.
